3. SmartArt diagrams

Use these to create slick-looking organization charts, flowcharts, and other diagrams. Upping the coolness factor is the ability to turn a list of bulleted text into a SmartArt diagram at the click of a button.

Here's how

1. Insert (ribbon) | Illustrations (chunk) | SmartArt.

2. Choose the type of diagram from the dialog

3. Type some text in either the text entry box or in the diagram itself.

4. You can format SmartArt diagrams using the Quick Style gallery or the tools on the Format ribbon that appears when the SmartArt diagram is selected.
